The Serbian dinar is the currency used in Serbia. It was introduced in 2003 replacing the last Yugoslav dinar. It is issued by the National Bank of Serbia.

Serbia is located next to Croatia in southeast Europe. The capital Belgrade has a population of 1.5 million. The country are struggling with high unemployment but has been able to decrease it from 30% in 2006 to todays 14%. Serbia has a free-trade agreement with the EU.
