Boliviano (BOB) is the currency in Bolivia

Boliviano is the currency used in the South American country Bolivia. It was introduced in 1864. It has changed name from Peso Boliviano in 1987 to Bolivian boliviano. It has controlled by the Banco Central de Bolivia - BCB, with is't main office in La Paz.

Bolivia is a country formed in 1825 named after Simon Bolivar, who fought for the country's independancy. Bolivia is one of South Americas poorest countries with widespread corruption.
